Dialing it down

I don't particularly like stress or anxiety. Those emotions will always exist for me, but I just had to learn to cope better with them as being part of my life. Some people thrive on them and a super fast paced life and others simply don't, I'm one of the others. As a sensitive person (feeling all of your own emotions plus those from all around as well) I realised I needed to pull the plug right out of the socket and reset myself from these emotions every single day, so everyone (including myself) gets the best version of me.

At WeComeInPeace we want our throw blankets to be your daily reminder to not be afraid of choosing to create a more cozy, spacious place inside of yourself. Experimenting with different low-noise practices can help your nervous system slow down so you can reduce and move the stress, anxiety and stagnant energies right out of your system. My one hour morning ritual is such a simple pleasure and goes meditate, breathe, exercise, nature, coffee and it's my favourite part of everyday.

Getting to know and understand myself via some daily rituals helped me discover what my body and mind needed to cope with the pace of daily life in a slightly more productive manner, instead of just pushing it all below the surface. You don't have to be ohmming away for hours, but you might end up there one day anyway lols.

Don't ever forget life is spose to be enjoyed and everyone is navigating through the same sh#t (well, same same but different) and that it's actually ok to be feeling it all and asking for someone's help when things feel too much. What seems like big stuff is often just small stuff once you can learn how to settle your nervous system down a little and process, instead of hiding from any stress and anxieties that start taking over that precious space inside you. And if it ever becomes one of those 'it's all too much' days, just hide under one of our cozy blankets and remember tomorrow's another day.
